In loving memory.....

IN MEMORY OF BARNEY - Barney was a sweet loving boy, loved life, especially loved children.  The neighbor kids loved Barney because he would just let them love on him, hug him.  My Grandchildren adored him.  He loved to sleep on the couch, look out the window for coyotes or deer, or maybe a rabbit or raccoon.
Barney came into our lives, maybe by accident.  He was picked up on the side of the road.  An email was sent out for anyone that could foster him. That's when our lives were changed forever.  We absolutely could not give him up.
I named him Barney because his tail was always wagging and it reminded me of the kid's show, Barney the purple dinosaur, always happy!
His faults were few, but many times he would get in the toilet paper and string it around the house.  Don't know how he didn't break the connection but Barney was really good at it.  What a funny boy he was!
We had way too short of a time with the boy, but the time we did have was a joyous experience.  There is a hole in our hearts for that gorgeous boy who touched many lives. - Linda Snider

IN MEMORY OF BAILEY - Bailey was the most loving dog anyone could have.  She was a fluffy little puppy when she came to join our family and always kept her puppy personality.  She was almost nine years old when she passed away and those were years filled with love for us and constant companionship.  Bailey enjoyed being as close to us as possible and would follow us from room to room waiting patiently for one of us to sit down so she could cuddle up at our side. She loved to chase balls, squeak her toys and stretch out in the sun shining through a window.  She is missed every single day and will always be remembered with love.  -Marcia Breeden

IN MEMORY OF SONNY - We called him our goofball, sweetie puppy, love bug. He was just the kindest, most caring, sweetest boy and a goofball and everyone loved him. We laughed at so many things he would do or what trouble he managed to find himself in. He could always tell when you were sad and liked to stay by you and put his big old paws around your neck and lay his head on your shoulder. Sonny always had a ball in his mouth and a smile on his face. My husband had a stroke and is in a nursing home so I would take both dogs with me to visit. One of the residents, a friend Dianna who is in a wheelchair simply adored Sonny and wanted to take his leash. Well, he wanted to go out of the dining area and took her for a ride down the hall. It was hysterical with Sonny acting like a horse pulling her along and everyone laughing. She was safe so it wasn't dangerous and Dianna was laughing at him while yelling WHOAAA. He went from around 65-70 when we got him to 94-100 (his largest weight).   We miss our boy so much and glad we were able to give him a good home for the almost 6 years we had him with us. We miss him every day.

IN MEMORY OF GULLIVER - "2014"
Remembering Gully...he was a wonderful dog.  Gully's first years of life were not great....  but thanks to the Kanoys who brought Gully into their family and gave him love, understanding, patience, daily walks in the fresh air and the most wonderful life any dog could ask for   ..in return he brought lots of joy to everyone he met!!! .  .

IN MEMORY OF CHARLIE
From his mom Sue: Charlie and I were meant for each other and I will be eternally grateful to you for finding him for me and  hooking us together.

IN MEMORY OF CASH ~ Kathy Monke
Just look at those eyes - he was SO loyal. We both hit the lottery when we met each other. : ) Forever Loved, Mom

IN MEMORY OF ADDIE
I got Addie from a rescue in Oklahoma. The rescue bought her before she went to auction and back to a puppy mill.  I got her knowing she was born with heart problems. My vet looked at her condition and told me, you may have her 2 days, 2 weeks , 2 months or 2 years. After blood work she had some kidney issues too. But... That did not matter. I felt in Love with her and told myself I would love her and give her the best life with all the love she could handle. She was only 8 months old. Here is a picture of my sweet Addie. This one has hit me hard. I can't stop crying. But in her short life she knew love.
Thanks so much,
Kayla

IN MEMORY OF VICK
In fond remembrance of Vick, the longtime friend of Glenda and Mike. Nothing compared to his love for them and for life.
