The Story of Our Van
Our van is essential to our transport services. Every Saturday morning, our Quincy volunteers gather at the city shelter VERY early to care for the animals and load the week's passengers for transport. Once the van is full, it is on the road to Springfield by 6:15 am. In order to help raise awareness of our work, we began a fundraising venture to pay for the van's wrap. This venture was quite the success! If you look close, you will see the names of pets within the swooshes on the sides and the rear of the van. As a way to memorialize past pets or honor current pets, individuals paid $50 each to have their pet's name listed in the swooshes. Now, every time the van embarks on a mission, it's like our passengers are riding on the wings of the animals who have captured our hearts throughout the years. Please take a moment to enjoy the beauty our van portrays in the images below.
